WHOI Study Finds Climate Mitigation Outpaces Evolution for Black-Browed Albatross Survival | environment coastal & offshore

A study published in PNAS shows that mitigating climate change is more effective for black-browed albatross survival than evolutionary adaptation alone. Researchers found that limiting greenhouse gas emissions can significantly reduce extinction probabilities for this seabird under projected climate scenarios.
